Interesting approach to the problem. Thanks Jaco.

I think this kind of initiatives/proposals/ideas should be more common as it´s obvious some things should be done to attract more people to Eternal formats. which, by the way, are reaaaaaaaaaaaaally funny :D

I had no idea some of these prices had risen so high till I read about it on The Source. I am no longer a competitive player, I play Magic for fun! (You remember fun, right?) I put a couple Tabernacles on ebay and made $400. I was happy and so was the guy who bought them. I may take the proceeds and buy some 'goyfs or some wallet-slayer angels and that will undoubtedly make someone else happy. It's all good.
And no, I am not missing the point. If you're so tied up in the complexity of marketplace economics that you can't have fun anymore, then it may be you who has missed the point.

Lemme guess, you're one of those that invested HEAVILY in old magic cards (multiple duals, forces, playsets) and are now afraid some of their cards will loose the value?
I'll just say that I'm in same boat, with the difference that I bought almost every possible playset right NOW, during the biggest price rises. Nevertheless, I would sign getting rid of restricted list immediately. Its insane burden for the whole game, and entry prices of staples are preventing loads of friends I know to even try playing Legacy.
I want magic to continue to grow as a game, and more importantly, Legacy to grow as a format. I don't care about the money, magic cards weren't my financial investment - I have stocks for that. This is a game after all, something fun.
